Add Account Filter

All-in-one solution for Backup, Restore and Migration.

Add Account Filter

Overview

The Add Account Filter section allows Admin to define specific criteria to include or exclude accounts during backup operations. This helps in targeting only the desired accounts for backup, improving efficiency and ensuring compliance with backup policies.

Add Account Filter

Navigate to Admin Panel > Backup Jobs > Add Account Filter

This section provides an overview of the account filter settings available during backup configuration.

From the Add Account Filter section, you can define specific rules to include or exclude accounts from backup jobs, ensuring only relevant data is processed.

To create a new account filter, fill in the required fields in the Add Account Filter form:

  • Name: Enter a unique name for the filter.

  • Type: Select the filter type from the dropdown. Available types include:

    • Account filter

    • Owned By Filter

    • Suspension filter

    • Disk Usage filter

    • Inode usage filter

    • Package filter

  • Filter Condition:

    • Include selected accounts – Only the specified accounts will be included .

    • Exclude selected accounts – All accounts will be included except the selected ones.

  • Accounts:  to be included or excluded based on the filter condition.

    Owned By Filter

The Owned By Filter allows you to include or exclude accounts based on their owner (typically a reseller or admin). This is useful when you want to target accounts managed by a specific user or reseller.

From this filter type, you can:

  • Select one or more owners whose accounts should be included or excluded in the backup job

Suspension Filter

The Suspension Filter allows you to filter accounts based on their suspension status. This helps in excluding inactive or suspended accounts from the backup process or including only active ones, depending on your backup policy.

With this filter type, you can:

  • Include only active accounts in the backup job.

  • Exclude suspended accounts to save storage and time.

  • Disk Usage filter

The Disk Usage Filter allows you to include or exclude accounts based on their disk space usage. This is useful for prioritizing high-usage accounts or skipping accounts that consume very little space.

With this filter type, you can:

    • Set disk usage thresholds (e.g., greater than or less than a specific size in MB or GB).

    • Include accounts that exceed a certain disk usage to ensure large or critical accounts are backed up.

    Inode Usage Filter

The Inode Usage Filter allows you to filter accounts based on their inode consumption. Inodes represent the number of files and directories used by an account, which is especially important on servers with inode limits.

With this filter type, you can:

    • Set conditions based on inode count (e.g., include accounts with more than X inodes).

    • Target high-inode accounts that may impact server performance or require special attention.

    Package Filter

The Package Filter allows you to include or exclude accounts based on their assigned hosting package. This is helpful when you want to back up only accounts on specific service plans or tiers.

With this filter type, you can:

    • Select one or more hosting packages to filter accounts accordingly.

    • Click Submit to save the filter.
