Backuply is a product of Softaculous Ltd. This page summarizes how we handle information when you use backuply.com, purchase licenses, or subscribe to our newsletter.

Information we collect

• Contact & support: name, email, and message content when you open tickets or contact sales.
• Licensing: account and server details required to issue Softaculous/Backuply licenses via the Softaculous client area.
• Newsletter: email address you provide when subscribing. If a Backuply account does not exist, one may be created for the subscription flow.
• Technical logs: standard web server logs (IP, user agent, pages visited) for security and reliability.

How we use information

• Provide and support Backuply Server and the WordPress plugin
• Process license purchases, renewals, and NOC billing
• Send product news and updates if you subscribe (you may unsubscribe anytime)
• Improve the website and protect against abuse

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by Softaculous Ltd. systems and trusted processors needed to run email, payments (e.g. via Softaculous clients), and hosting.
